Care Services Training Center can help your staff meet their state
training requirements with conveniently scheduled classes.
Our training
will help your staff meet the training requirements for Adult Family Homes,
Boarding Homes, Adult Residential Care, Home Care and Individual provider.
The training center is open to the public as well.
Courses
offered include:
Revised
Fundamentals of Caregiving:
A 28 hours
class meeting the regulations set by Washington State for Caregivers. We
also offer the Safety Training for Individual Providers.
Revised
Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving:
A self-paced
home study course for Nursing Assistants Certified, Registered Nurses,
Licensed Practical Nurses, Occupational or Physical Therapists and Medicare
Certified Home Health Aides.
Nurse
Delegation:
A nine hour
class that prepares the qualified nursing assistant to participate in Nurse
Delegations in Accordance with Public Law 1908 of the Revised Code of
Washington. Students perform course work in the convenience of their home
and materials are reviewed/certified with a Register Nurse.
Continuing
Education:
A variety of
topics in the area of caregiver to meet the state requirements for
continuing education. Topics cover disease processes, self-help support,
cultural diversity, safety, professionalism, developmental differences,
health management, etc. Classes are 5 hours.
CPR/First Aid:
Certified Red
Cross Instructors teaching standard first aid and CPR for adults.
HIV/Bloodborne
Pathogens:
A required
class for healthcare workers in Washington State. We offer a 4 or 7 hours
class, to meet the requirements of your employer.
